

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Friday, August 4, 2017, in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
He was born October 25, 1937, in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, a son of the late Thomas Benjamin Martin, Sr. and Edna V. Johnson Martin.
Mr. Martin was a faithful member of the Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Pearl. He retired after a lengthy career in the steel fabrication industry, which included service with Delta Steel, Steel Service, and City Welding. Mr. Martin was always willing to help his co-workers and many benefited from his natural ability to mentor others. His hobbies included fishing and hunting and he was always quick with a trick or joke-anything to bring a smile. He loved his family dearly, especially his grandchildren, for whom he created endless stories and tales of adventure.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Devin Wesley Breazeale, son, Andy Martin, and brother, Malcolm Martin.
Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Nell Martin; daughter, Patricia Breazeale; sons, Randy Martin, Billy Harold Martin, and David Lee Martin; step-sons, Keith Lambert, David Lambert, and Karry Lambert; sister, Bonnie Griffin; brothers, Thomas B. Martin, Jr., Jimmy Martin, and Larry Martin; 14 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren.
