James Baysinger of Pearl, MS passed away September 14, 2018 at Merit Health Crossgates, at the age of 76. James was born in Neshoba County on December 9, 1941 to Houston and Rosie Baysinger. He worked for the Clarion Ledger in route sales for many years. He was a very hard worker and loved taking care of his family.
James is preceded in death by his son, James Michael Baysinger, and his sisters Nita Foxx and Peggy Files. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lucy and sons Donald Parrish of Phoenix, AZ and Gary Parrish (Diana) of Raleigh, NC and daughters Susan Daniels (Roger) of Florence and Lisa Fish (Chris) of Madison, 9 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
James was known for his humor and wit. Up until the last several years he enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing bingo and watching sports. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
Visitation will be at 12:00 PM Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Baldwin Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Service will be at 1:00 PM with burial immediately following at Floral Hills Memory Gardens on Hwy 80E in Pearl.
