James or “Jim”, as he was affectionately called, was born on November 06, 1931, in Pulaski, Mississippi, to Mr. Sylvester Oliver Eady and Mrs. Mamie Ruth Tillman Eady.
A devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend. Jim’s life was defined by his kindness, laughter, and an unshakable love for people. He has been described as a “great role model”. Jim grew up with a deep appreciation for family and godly values that would guide him throughout his life. Jim built a successful career as a manager with Ashland Chemical Company after attending business college. He was an active member of the Mississippi Association of Purchasing Management and First Baptist Church of Byram, Mississippi. In his early years he enjoyed fishing and hunting. In the retirement years he enjoyed golfing, helping church members, friends, and family. When he was not helping others, you could find him working in the yard or garden and doing exceptional woodwork. He also very much enjoyed spending time with his family. His laughter was contagious.
James is preceded in death by his parents.
