James C. Harrison

He was born Sunday, August 7, 1921, in Webster County, Mississippi, a son of the late William Harrison and Eva Esther McCain Harrison.

Mr. Harrison was a long time resident of Jackson and Pearl, Mississippi. He was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Jackson since 1968, and worked for Mississippi Materials for more than thirty years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Emma Davis Harrison, daughter, Ruth Harrison, brothers, Alvin and W.D. Harrison, and sister, Hazel May.

He is survived by children, Jean Smith, Barbara Sanders and Mike Harrison; eight grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandson, two nephews and three nieces.

Visitation will be 12:00-2:00pm, Monday, February 27, 2017, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood Memorial Park South, 430 McCluer Rd, Jackson, Mississippi. Services will be officiated by the reverends James Harrison, Daryl Cook, and Louie Moore. Pallbearers will be Eddie Burnett, Leon Jones, James "Beau" Carter, Donnie Smith, Lee Smith, Jody Smith, Marty Sanders, and Corey Sanders.
