James I. "Jimmy" Ray

Visitation will be from 5 - 8pm Monday, June 15, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will be at 11am Tuesday in the funeral home chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon. Rev. Calvin Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers are Greg Ray, Jamey Ray, Josh Ray, Adam Ray, Chris Ray, Rusty Rutland and Todd Rutland. Honorary Pallbearers are Kenneth Lancaster, Nathan McBay, Carl Brown, and Jamie Harvey.

James Ray was born November 1, 1934 to the late William Earl and Claudia Quarles Ray.

He is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Rhonda Lou Ray Simpson and son-in-law, Greg; two brothers, Woodie and Quarles Ray; and sisters, Clytee Ray Hunt and Edna Earl Ray Fryery.

James is survived by his wife, Rose; sons, Gregory Keith Ray and James William "Jamey" Ray; brother, Ralph Ray (Marlene); grandsons, Christopher Keith Ray (Shannon), Joshua Ham Ray (Carrie) and Adam Gregory Ray (Crystal); and great-grandchildren, Bella Ray, Brady Ray and Savannah Rose Ray.
