James Mark Sumrall

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00pm, Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am, Wednesday, March 30, 2016, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. Services will be officiated by his son, Rev. Bubba Sumrall.

Mark was born on Friday, the thirteenth of April, 1956, in Jackson, Mississippi, a son of the late Glantz Wyndell Sumrall and Nellie Ann Rich Sumrall. A member of the Baptist faith, Mark attended worship service at different area churches throughout the years. A skilled trim carpenter, he worked for several years building everything from cabinets and staircases to toy boxes. His hobbies included fishing and hunting. Mark was a true animal lover and enjoyed playing with the family dogs. He also played guitar and wrote music.

Survivors include his children, Ronnie Mark Sumrall and wife Freida, Bubba Lee Sumrall and wife Rebecca and Jessica Lynn Angell and fiancée Cullen Fields, and their mother, Debbie McKellar Sumrall Singley; sister, Pamela Ann White; and grandchildren, Toni Danielle Sumrall, Lauren Rechielle Sumrall, Gregory Davis Sumrall, Allison Marie Sumrall, Christopher Lee Sumrall, Thomas Joseph Quinn, IV and Kayden Baylee Belford.
