The family will receive friends from 12:00pm until 2:00pm, Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services will follow at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with interment in Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
Larry was born March 8, 1955, in Jackson, a son of the late George Hill and Florence Jenkins Hill.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served on the police force of Brandon, Mississippi for five years. Larry later retired from WalMart after serving as a manager for 23 years.
Larry was a huge sports fan and he enjoyed watching all different types of sports. Some of his favorite teams were the New Orleans Saints and the Golden State Warriors. Larry took pride in making sure his truck was kept in good condition, and in his free time he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing with his dog Benji, and watching his favorite tv programs.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Wanda Hill; son, Larry Hill, Jr.; daughter, Christina Hill; brother, George Hill, Jr.; sisters, Karen Williams, and Lisa Holifield; mother-in-law, Doris Ware; and grandchildren, Chloe and Mason Hill.
