Visitation will be 11:00am-1:00pm, Saturday, September 19, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl with funeral services at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow at 4:00pm in the Bevill Hills Cemetery in Louisville.
Lee was born Monday, August 9, 1948 in Starkville, Mississippi, a son of the late Alvin Levi Palmer and Felcie Miller Palmer. He retired in 1994 from the Mississippi Industry for the Blind after more than 30 years of faithful service. Lee enjoyed listening to country music and was an avid sports fan, loving referred to by his family as an "armchair football coach/quarterback and baseball manager".
He is survived by sisters, Mary Lou Jones, Kim Sturgill, Brienda Mainers, Sherry Busby and Delois Bagwell; brothers, Dewain Miller, Roger Israel and Allen Israel; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
