Mr. Lindy Warren Patsel

Long-time Mississippi resident Lindy Warren Patsel died peacefully on July 31, 2024, after a brief illness. Born on March 16, 1947, in Washington, DC, to Wilford and Emma (Warren) Patsel, Lindy was beloved by his family and friends in all three states where he lived: North Carolina, South Carolina, and Mississippi.

Known as Lindy as a youngster and later by others as Warren, Mr. Patsel's life was filled with love and companionship. He was preceded by his parents, cherished companion, Caren Bracken, and her daughter, Teresa, and beloved infant son, Michael.

Lindy leaves behind a family who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts. He is survived by his devoted sisters, Joan Patsel Van Hoy (Gerald) of Kernersville, NC, and Karen Patsel McIntosh of Omaha, NE. His legacy of love and kindness continues through his three nieces—Lisa, Robyn, and Loree and their families—and his two nephews, Justin and Kian.

Lindy's final resting place will be the serene Concord Baptist Church Cemetery in Stony Point, NC, where his spirit can rest peacefully with extended family who passed before him. His warmth, kindness, and gentle spirit will be deeply missed but forever remembered by all who knew him.

Private family rites will be held.
