A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Old Brandon Cemetery, in Brandon, Miss.
She was born on July 16, 1930, into the large family of the late Isaac N. Cowart and Fannie Davis Cowart in Smithdale, Mississippi, and was a graduate of Independence High School. Louise was a member of Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Pearl. In her free time, she loved working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Rightly so, she was proud of the vast array of blooms that surrounded her home. Her green thumb also led her to maintaining a bountiful vegetable garden as well. She didn't believe in waste and was always happily sharing with others. Louise's family and friends always looked forward to her coming by to see them and leaving them delicious, fresh treats from her garden. She had a big heart and loved to give to others. Her nurturing soul was perfect for caring for her plants as well as her loved ones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Dan (“Dan”) Campbell, Jr.; sons, Jerry Lee Campbell and Robert Dan (“Danny”) Campbell III; grandson, Ike Campbell; and 12 siblings.
Louise is survived by her sons, Fon (Lisa) Campbell and Joseph Campbell; brother, Frank Cowart; sisters, Reva Munch and Mary Richards; six grandchildren: Marisa Atkinson (Ben), Wayne Campbell (Brittany), Anthony Campbell, Christina Campbell, Ashley Campbell, and Meaghan Campbell; ten great-grandchildren: Campbell Atkinson, Fletcher Atkinson, Ford Atkinson, Jackson Atkinson, Aiden Campbell, Kiersten Campbell, Brayden Sullivan, Lexi Campbell, Rowen Campbell, and Harper Campbell; and a number of beloved extended family members and friends.
