Visitation will be 5-8pm, Friday, February 20, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 3:00pm, Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the funeral home chapel with interment in Lakewood South Cemetery.
Mrs. Hawkins was a faithful member of the Salvation Army Church since 1940 and a retired hairdresser.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Birdie Lee Whalen, husband, Alfred Hawkins, Sr., and 6 brothers.
Survivors include son, Alfred “Cecil” Hawkins, Jr. and wife Rebecca Ann; brother, Leland Ray Whalen; grandchildren, Jason Jones, Christopher Hawkins and Megan Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Dillon and Braxton; and several nieces and nephews.
