Visitation will be held 4:00-7:00pm, Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Graveside services are 11:00am, Thursday, September 19, 2013 in Natchez Trace Memorial Park, Ridgeland.
She was born July 14, 1942 in Carroll County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Amazon Taylor Dickson and Lenora Ricks Dickson.
She retired as a truck driver after a career of more than 20 years. Her hobbies including working in her yard and flower garden and playing casino games.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Strachan; son, Allen Strachan and wife Sandy; sisters, Mary Campbell and Elsa Faye Watts; and grandchildren, Samantha Peyton and Nicole Strachan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen May.
