A loving, Christian mother, Motha was strong in her faith in Christ. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Pearl and, in more recent years, attended church with her son and his family at Metro Baptist Church. An avid reader Motha dedicated time for reading her Bible daily. She was a true prayer warrior, raising her fervent petitions for protection and guidance for her family and friends.
She retired from the Coca Cola Company after more than 28 years as an accountant. In her free time Motha enjoyed bowling, sitting outside feeding the birds, and collecting Coke memorabilia. She also liked to help at the election polls.
