Nell Horne

Nell was born in Simpson County, Mississippi on April 3, 1938 to Nell and Dock Mullins. Nell attended Mendenhall High School and Draughn’s Business College.

Nell married Frederick Horne in 1969. She worked as a phone operator and enjoyed participating in reading, singing, and playing games. Nell is survived by her two daughters, Cindy Jones of Brandon and Paula White of Carthage; two sisters, Debbie Leber of Carthage and Lynn Garrett of Brandon; her three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

The family will be having a graveside service at Gum Springs Baptist Church. We’d like to thank Baldwin Lee for their compassionate assistance during this difficult time and a special thanks to all the members of Gum Springs Church.
