Reggie Dean Musgrove, 75, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at his home in Richland, Mississippi surrounded by family. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 15th starting at 11 am at Nativity Lutheran Church in Brandon, Mississippi.
He was born on March 4, 1946 in Jackson, Mississippi to the late Elwood and Ethel Mae Musgrove where he was the third oldest of eight kids, but there were always more than that around the table at dinner due to all the friends that were at their house.
He enjoyed showing others the buildings he built while a superintendent for Priester Construction and Mid State Construction, but his main pride came from the customers that bragged about the houses he built after starting Musgrove Builders with his brothers. There was always a waiting list for a house built by Musgrove Builders.
After retiring, he filled his days by playing with grandkids, working in his garden, perfecting his lawn, and doing “daddy I want”s for his kids. He was known for passing out bags of vegetables, but those he held in high regard would get a jar of homemade pickles or canned tomatoes.
He is survived by his sons James Edward and Ryan (Tiffany), daughter Pamela (Rick) Kirby, granddaughter Katie Mae, grandson Izic Dean, and a host of family and friends.
