

Visitation will be 10:00-11:00am, Friday, April 28, 2017, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Memorial services will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel.
Shirley was born January 19, 1950, in Leflore County, Mississippi, a daughter of the late Homer Leroy Mullins and Frances Kathleen Taylor Mullins.
She served with the Air National Guard of Mississippi from 1977 to 1991. She later worked for many years as a forensic psychologist at the Mississippi State Hospital from which she retired in 2012. Shirley loved to bake cakes and cookies for family and friends. Her tins of delicious homemade cookies, tied with and elegant bow, will long be remembered. She also enjoyed traveling and visited many exotic locales over the years, including Mexico, Belize, Costa Rica, and the Mediterranean, but her favorite city to visit was New Orleans.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Holly Beall.
Survivors include her husband of 36 years, Laurence "Larry" Beall; son, Laurence William Beall and wife Brenda; daughter, Karen Elizabeth Price and husband Jody; brothers, David and Marvin Mullins; sisters, Barbara Pittman, Mary Gibbs and Katie Chamblee; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Andrews Episcopal Cathedral where Shirley attended, or to the Stewpot Community Services of Jackson.
