Known for her kindness and generosity, beloved by her family and friends, Shirley Cauthen, of Pearl, MS, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 1, 2023 in Tomball, TX.
Shirley was born in Vicksburg, MS on November 25, 1945 to Ernest and Eva Burton. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Allen Cauthen, Sr.; sister, Georgiann Downs; brothers, Everette Burton and John Burton; and grandson, Cory Cauthen.
She is survived by her son, Allen Cauthen, Jr. of Pearl, MS; daughter, Roechell Odom (Jim) of Spring, TX; brother, Robert Burton of Hot Springs, AR; grandchildren, Cole Cauthen (Breanna) of Alabama, Clint Odom (Christina) of The Colony, TX, Morgan Cauthen (Peyton) of Cordova, TN, and Olivia Odom of Dallas, TX; great-grandchildren, Chloe Cauthen, Amelia Cauthen, Brady Cauthen, and Darcy Paige Cauthen; and daughter-in-law, Susan Cauthen of Pearl, MS.
Pallbearers will be Allen Cauthen, Jr., Cole Cauthen, Morgan Cauthen, Jim Odom, Clint Odom, and Darren Cauthen.

Visitation will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home, Pearl, MS. The Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 PM officiated by Reverend David Ratcliffe and special music by Sherry Kernop. Burial will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery at 3:30 PM.
