Visitation is 1:00-4:00pm Sunday, May 13, 2012 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 11:00am Monday, May 14, 2012 in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Rosemont Gardens Cemetery.
Shirley was born April 6, 1939 in Philadelphia, Mississippi, a daughter of the late James Calvin Luke and Susie Mae Stovall Luke. She was a retired bookkeeper and payroll clerk having served several finance companies for many years. She later worked as a sitter and caregiver for the elderly. A loving wife and mother, Shirley will best be remembered for her compassion and dedication to her family and friends.
Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Billy W. Luke; sons, Greg Laxton, Jason Luke and Billy Dewayne Luke; daughters, Cyndi Haynie and Jessica Cook; brother, Charles Luke; sister, Anne Driskell; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
