A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl.
She was born March 15, 1960 to Al and Helen Hughes in New Orleans, LA.
Tania worked for more than 30 years in Medical Billing Coding. It was not until later when she began teaching medical terminology and billing and coding that she found her true calling as an instructor. Teaching was her passion and she loved each and every one of her students.
Her hobbies included reading, Ole Miss football games, Lifetime Movies, watching her grandchildren grow, taking photos and shopping-she always found the bargains! Tania's favorite times were spent with family and friends, and she especially enjoyed attending any events that involved her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Donald Conn, Sr.; children, Johnathan Conn (Kittrell), and Don Conn, Jr.; grandchildren, Chance & Alexa, Chaz & Hannah, Christian, Caitlyn, Alayna, Alec, and Kashton, and one soon to be great-grandbaby; parents, Al and Helen Hughes; brothers, Guy Hughes (Lisa), Mike Hughes, and Dean Hughes (April); and sister, Melissa Stephens (Larry).
Tania was preceded in death by her son, Kevin Conn; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Conn Blanks.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a local animal shelter.
