

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Dudley and Edith Mize Alexander, brother, J.D. Alexander, Jr., husband of 66 years, John Barney Burnham, Sr., and son-in-law, Lynn S. Wilson.
Frankie was Valedictorian of the Puckett High School Class of 1941. She was a homemaker, charter member of Pearl Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, worked in the nursery and was a deacon’s wife. She was also an active member of Puckett Baptist Church. She was an avid reader, gardener, and seamstress… a Southern lady and a true Proverbs woman.
She is survived by son, John B. Burnham, Jr. and wife Shirley; daughter, Betty B. Wilson; grandchild, Johnny L. Burnham, wife Peggy and children Lynley Cockrell, Danielle Jordan, Jake Burnham and Drew Jordan; grandchild, Melinda B. Myrick, husband Joe, and children Erin and Oren; grandchild, Greg Burnham and wife Anna and children Matthew and Katelyn; grandchild, Jeff Burnham and wife Sephanie and son Asa; grandchild, Jonathan Wilson and wife Cristy; and grandchild, Drew Wilson; great-great-granddaughters, Heidi and Johnna Faye Cockrell; cousin, Mary P. Purvis; special friend, Jean Turbville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Known as “Mamaw” or “Miss Frankie” by many, her visitation will be held 5:00-7:00pm, Friday, May 1, 2015 at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl. Funeral services are 10:00am, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Puckett Baptist Church with interment in the Puckett Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.
Rev. Marcus Canoy and Rev. Tommy May will officiate. Miss Frankie’s grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
