Born in Portsmouth, Virginia he grew up with an appreciation for adventure and mechanics from an early age. Most recently, he worked as a service advisor for Harley Davidson. His extensive knowledge and customer service skills made him a valuable member to his team. Prior to this, he proudly served in the Navy as an Aviation Mechanic.
Chuck was a true enthusiast of life. He found joy in riding motorcycles, often going on long rides with his friends and family. He also loved grilling and had a green thumb when working in the garden.
He leaves behind a legacy of adventure and camaraderie and will be remembered for the happiness he brought to his friends and family. While we will mourn his loss, we also celebrate the life he lived and the memories he created.
Chuck is survived by his loving wife, Joy Driggers; his children, Deanna Abbey, Charles Abbey, Jr., Brock Abbey, Hannah Cooper, and Austin Driggers; his parents, Joyce Gardner and Gerard Abbey; his sister, Kimberly Abbey-Hunt (Jeffrey Hunt) and children; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A memorial visitation & gathering for Charles will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77584, followed by a celebration of life from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
