Diomedes Pino Cambari

He was born in 1940 in Impasugong, Bukidnon, Philippines, to Apolonio Ramirez Cambari and Braulia Sitoy Pino. Affectionately known as “Dioming” or “Manoy Jo” by those who loved him, he was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, sibling, and friend.

Diomedes was married to Wedifreda Doctolero Ontalan for 35 years, sharing a life rooted in love, faith, and family. He dedicated over 37 years of service with the Department of the Interior and Local Government in the Philippines, serving as LGOO V, a role that reflected his strong sense of duty, integrity, and commitment to public service.

He was a faithful member of the United Methodist Church and Gideons International, and he lived his faith through action—by caring deeply for his family and friends and treating everyone he encountered with respect, kindness, and quiet generosity.

Diomedes was preceded in death by his beloved wife Wedifreda; his parents; his sons Monching and Bob; his younger brothers Carlos and Junior; and his youngest sister Emily.

He is survived by his loving children Cheryl, Miriam, Mercia, and Cray; his sons-in-law Henry and Jimmy; and his daughters-in-law Dolly, Esther, and Ann. He is also survived by his six loving siblings—Thelma, Willy, Manuel, Jacinto, Bernabe, and Rosemarie—with whom he shared a close and enduring bond. He is further survived by his 22 beloved grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense joy. He shared a special bond with those who grew up alongside him, including Aldio, Apple, Jay, Jam, Rob, and Luis, and held each of his grandchildren close to his heart.

Diomedes will be remembered as a gentle and selfless man whose life was defined by love, humility, faith, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished by all who knew him.

A Visitation will be held at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Pkwy. Pearland, Texas 77584 on January 29, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to Follow at 5:00 p.m.
