Precious memories of Kimberly are cherished by her two children Asia and Kylan Harris, mother Cathy Kegler, father Larry Kegler, brother LeKarius Kegler & his wife Katrina Kegler and their two children Jaxon and Jade Kegler, mother-in-law Donna Harris, and a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her 3 month old daughter Patience Briana Marshall, grandparents Ray & Edna Hartsfield, Richard Watts, Jr., Farice & Laura Kegler, and Vesta Ree Kegler, and father of Asia and Kylan, Tommy Harris.
Ms. Kimberly earned Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from University of Houston-Downtown, Davies College of Business. She began her career in her field of study. She was a detailed oriented professional with over 20 years of experience in payroll management and accounting. Kimberly worked mostly in onshore/offshore, engineering, healthcare, oil and gas industries, where she specialized in resolving any payroll issues and implemented quality assurance procedures to certify timely disbursements. In other words, she "held it down, everybody got paid." We all may recall some of her favorite phrases especially "BayAABee" (meaning Baby let's talk).
Kimmee (nicknamed by Mom, Cousins and Sweetheart Dad's favorite name) blessed with many talents, yet developed great tastes during her life journeys. She loved eating at good restaurants, especially Mexican food. By the way, please don't get her food order wrong - because she will send it back until every detail is done as she ordered. Some folks called her "a little firecracker" because she was specific in her likes and dislikes. Kim was an avid traveler and especially enjoyed destinations with excellent lodging. To travel with her always meant a good time. Ms. Kimberly took pride in her hair being on point and was really good at doing her own if need be... and in her words "a really tough scene" which meant a really good outfit and hair. Ms. Kimberly was a strong single mother known as "Mama Girl" by her daughter Asia and "Kimberlee" by her son Kylan. She was always supportive, very generous and always available whenever needed.
Ms. Kimberly fought and suffered these preceding years to experience life, to see major milestones in her life, such as celebrating her birthdays, attending Asia's and Kylan's high school graduation, celebrating their birthdays, holidays and just for fun events with her cousins and friends. The Kegler family wishes to Thank the Medical Teams from Davita Dialysis Cinco Ranch, Hermann Memorial Hospital - Katy and Houston Methodist Hospital Katy for your dedication, knowledge, care, compassion and kindness during our heartache.
Of course we selfishly want Kim on this side of Heaven, but we rest assured we will meet again. Rest up beautiful lady and we know we have a special Angel to watch over us and we give God all the praise!
A celebration of life for Ms. Kimberly will be held Saturday, July 27, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77584.
