

Margie Williams, a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her home on January 8, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on September 10, 1931 in Lafayette, Louisiana; Margie lived a life of faith, filled with love, laughter, and kindness.
Margie was a nurse (LVN) and loved to take care of people who are sick and shut-in.
Margie was known for her warm heart and infectious smile. She dedicated her life to her family and was a constant source of support and encouragement. Her children, grandchildren and great grandson were her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
In addition to her family, Margie had a passion for prayer, cooking and volunteering, which brought her immense joy and allowed her to connect with others in her community. She was one of the founding members of New Covenant Tabernacle in Houston where she faithfully led the usher ministry and women prayer ministry. She was a true friend to many, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
Margie is survived by her husband, Don Williams; her children, Robert Chilo (Clara), Billie Witter; three bonus children; grandchildren, Leonard Philson, Jr., Brandy Chilo; a great grandson, Onjae Chilo; a host of brothers, sisters, nephews, cousins, and friends, who will carry her memory in their hearts forever.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Billie Lee Chilo; daughter, Barbara Faye Chilo, and brothers, Joseph Norman, John Norman and Rickie Norman.
Margie will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
