

Our beloved Romulo Adrias Lademora unexpectedly joined our Creator on October 10, 2024. He was 76 years old. Romulo was born in San Enrique, Iloilo, Philippines on October 25, 1948. Romulo graduated from Passi High School. He attended two years of mechanical engineering at Western Institute of Technology, Lapaz, Iloilo City and started working at Passi Sugar Central where he was eventually promoted to boiler foreman. He immigrated to the United States in 1979 and worked in different jobs to support his family until he was hired as an electronic technician for the United States Postal Service. He continued to work at USPS in Houston, TX for more than 33 years before retiring.
Romulo had many hobbies throughout his life that included playing chess, fishing, gardening, and playing puzzles like Candy Crush to keep his mind sharp. In addition, he was a handyman always fixing things around the house. Romulo valued education and instilled the love of learning with his children. He made sure that they received a proper education so that they could have a good life of their own.
Romulo was a selfless, generous, kind, and helpful person. He shared his knowledge on how to grow healthy vegetables, how to fix broken pipes, air conditioners, and other kinds of problems his neighbors might encounter. He always lent his helping hands to others, especially to his neighbors.
Romulo is survived by his wife of 18 years, Joy Lademora, his children Shaun Lademora, Mira Lyn Lademora-Johnston [husband Patrick Johnston], and Joshua Lademora [wife Katie P. Lademora].
A visitation for Romulo will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Forest Park South Funeral Home, 12650 Shadow Creek Parkway, Pearland, Texas 77584, followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM.
