Stephen F. Moreland, born on May 11, 1947, passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 11, 1947 to Audrey and Marion Moreland. He enjoyed fishing, bow hunting, camping and traveling throughout the United States. he would travel around Texas with his wife to check out the towns, big and small, antique shops, historical sites, many great restaurants and the bakeries with yummy home cooked apple strudels. He also loved crossword puzzles, watching a couple of his favorite game shows and gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Moreland; sister, Adele Morley; sister-in-law, Donna Moreland; nieces and nephews, Marc and Erin Morley; Brian Moorley, along with their respective families.
Stephen is preceded in death by both of his parents; Audrey and Marion Moreland; his brother, Dennis.
A committal service will be held at the Houston National Cemetery, located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr, Houston, Texas, 77038. The service is scheduled for December 30, 2025, at 10:45 am.
