Andrea S Schaible

Born April 9, 1976 in Peoria to Alvin Wayne and Victoria Kay (Chrisman) Johnson, she married Derrick Dean Schaible on May 6, 2000 in Manito. He survives.

Also surviving are her parents, Alvin and Vicki Johnson of Pekin; one daughter, Rachel Lee Arlyn Schaible at home; one sister, Jessica (Tom) Kennemer of Pekin; two nephews, Jason Kennemer and Tyler Kennemer and her paternal grandmother, Opal Johnson of Pekin. She also leaves her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Deb Schaible of Manito and a brother-in-law, Dyson Schaible of Nashville, TN.

A 1994 graduate of Pekin Community High School, Andrea also earned her Associates Degree from Illinois Central College as a Certified Dental Assistant. She then worked 13 years as a dental assistant.

Andrea was devoted to her husband, daughter and family. She especially enjoyed taking pictures and had a wonderful artistic ability. She also enjoyed cooking, fishing and was fond of her dogs.

Her memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Tom Cox of South Pekin Congregational Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an educational fund for her daughter in care of Pekin Community Bank, 601 Court Street, Pekin, IL 61554.
