Anne M Goodman

She was born February 2, 1935 in Hardin County, TN to Edd and Stellar (Deshazier) Hunt. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Hunt and Otis Hunt and three sisters, Mary Elizabeth “Libby” Brashier, Estella Franks and Ethel Mae Hunt.

Surviving are three sisters, M. Lucille Scott, Betty F. Moser and Carolyn (Jerry) Hill, all of Savannah, TN; one brother, W. Jay (Doris) Hunt of Savannah, TN and many nieces & nephews.

Anne worked for Pizza Hut in Morton for 14 years, last as an assistant manager. She then worked for Wal-Mart in Pekin for 15 years as a cashier and support manager. In 2007 she began working part time as a retail clerk for the Dollar Tree in Morton.

Anne enjoyed collecting all things Mickey Mouse, Aunt Jemima, clocks and thimbles. Visiting with friends was always important to Anne and she was especially fond of her dog, Bella.

Anne was of the Baptist faith.

Her funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. The Rev. Dr. Bobby E. Barnhill will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before the funeral. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
