Anneliese Gent

Born February 16, 1936 in Wurzburg, Germany to George and Anna (Fish) Bair, she married Wallace B. Gent on September 18, 1974 in Peoria. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Cheryl Tucker of Bradley, Florida; five grandchildren, Monica, Jessica, Michael, Brandy and Taylor; 12 great-grandchildren, Keagan, Dylan, Madalyn, Alexandra, Miranda, Hunter, Serena, Cleo, Lance, Levi, Triston, Taylor, and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steven Claton; one daughter, Deborah Claton; two sisters and one brother.

Annaliese worked for Pekin Insurance for 12 years, retiring in 1999.

Annaliese enjoyed embroidering and fishing in her free time.

Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor John Plunkett will officiate. Visitation will be held an hour prior at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
