I am deeply saddened by your loss.  Your Mom was a beautiful lady whose friendship I always treasured.  I am thankful for the reasons which made us friends and the lifetime of memories I will never forget. I feel blessed to have been a part of her life and she will forever have a place in my heart.

I'm thinking of each of you today, praying for each of you today, hurting with each of you today. You are held close in thought and prayer as you walk through this difficult time. With Special Rememberance of your mother... May you find peace in the days ahead. 

Just wanted to pass on my condolences to the children of my Aunt Geraldine's daughter; whom I've unfortunately never met; as the "Carter family" was rather scattered geographically and did not spend a lot of time keeping in touch with family; myself included. To try and make a long story short; I am Patricia Ann (Carter) Miller, the daughter of Ethan A. Carter who was one of the brothers' of your Grandmother Geraldine.  Thankfully, just within the past year or two; my Cousins and yours; Jim Mitchell and his sister Bonnie have located me in Collinsville Il. after the passing of their Mother, Aunt Velma Mitchell. This explains how I found out about the loss of your Mother.  Jim and I have reconnected a couple of times this past summer at some cookouts, and I hadn't seen him since my two oldest daughters were still young and they are now 40 and 41  years old, so it had been a long long time. Like so many others, I also was so very sorry to hear of your Mothers loss, as recently; I was so hopeful to have the time to possibly reunite with Bev in the near future as I have with Jim, and am also wanting to do the same with Bonnie someday soon. I have now missed my opportunity to do that. I was really wanting to, at the least; speak to her on the telephone and, in fact; had just been told by Jim that your Mom wasn't doing so well, and I had just gotten her telephone number from him a few days ago, or no more than a week earlier. Since Jim spoke to her somewhat frequently or at least kept in touch; he spoke of her as vibrant and outgoing, an all around fun person to be with.  I wish I had gotten to know her better.  I truly wish I had known all of my Dad's family better, unfortunately most of us seem to get involved in the lives' of our immediate families and all of their encompassing activities between school,work,and play, a lot of times to the exclusion of the broader spectrum of life. It's not an intentional choice for most of us; but nonetheless, one that happens to a lot of us. Anyway, I read that your Mother attended an Assembly of God church, as do I, and therefore; I feel comfortable in saying that my prayers are with all of  you at this time of our loss and I pray that all of you will find comfort,strength, and peace in her belief of her Lord and Savior. We were very fortunate to have met Bev and Orville through our neighbors, Maurie and Marty.  Both Bev and Orville were very kind to us and our children.  We enjoyed their company the few times we were able to spend with them.  Our thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
