

GREEN VALLEY ~ Beverly Maxine Jackson Walck, 75, of 204 Liberty Square Drive in Troy, IL, passed away at 6:50 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2006 at SSM St. Mary's Health Center in Richmond Heights, Missouri. She was formerly of Green Valley and Pekin.
Born July 12, 1930 in Pekin to Elmer Robert and Edna Florence (Mitchell) Krigner, she married Wayne Franklin VanNattan. He died July 3, 1947 in Pekin. She then married Melvin Edward "Dub" Jackson on October 20, 1948 in Paducah, Kentucky. He died March 26, 1974 in Mason City. She last married Willis L. Walck on August 18, 1990 in Pekin. He died March 1, 1994 in Iowa City, Iowa. She also was preceded in death by three brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Linda L. (Joseph) Thomas of Maryland Heights, Missouri; two sons, Joseph R. (Judy) Jackson of Green Valley and George M. (Carla) Jackson of Pekin; one step-daughter, Melva A. Smith of Pekin; seven grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; seven step-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Helen L. Thomas of Maryville, IL.
Beverly was a licensed practical nurse working at the former Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville for 17 years and then at the Lincoln Developmental Center in Lincoln until retiring in 1973.
She was an avid reader, enjoyed quilting and formerly enjoyed traveling.
She was of the Methodist faith.
Her funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 7, 2006at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Gary L. Ford will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Valley Cemetery.
