Beverly Jean Jones

Beverly was born June 30, 1943 in Pekin to Louis and Thelma M (DeBoer) Harmon. They preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Victor E. Jones; two daughters, Jennifer Shindledecker and Julie Jones; three brothers, Larry Harmon, William Harmon and Bobby Harmon and friend Jack Meredith.

Surviving are two daughters, Terri (Rick) Winborn of East Peoria and Pamela (Jason) Padilla of Colorado; two sons, Del Jones of Pekin and Victor (Tamara) Jones of Colorado; nine grandchildren, Nicole, Chris, Nathan, Lisa, Page, Trevor, Daniel, Eric and Gabriel; four great-grandchildren, Bradley, Hope, Autumn and Delilah; two brothers, Louis Harmon Jr. of Bloomington and Kenneth Harmon of Joliet and one sister, Marilyn Beaver of Pekin.

Beverly was a real-estate agent in Pekin for many years and was also a waitress for many restaurants over the years.

Beverly loved playing bingo, cards, spending time with her family and strawberry shakes. She also enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right.

Her graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, October 28, 2021 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
