He was born April 26, 1947 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to James and Imogene (Sanford) Eubanks. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are two sons, Jim (Becky) Eubanks of Pekin and Billy Joe (Tracy) Eubanks of Adger, Alabama; one daughter, Peggy (David) Winningham of Brookwood, Alabama; seven grandchildren; one brother, Bobby (Jeanette) Eubanks of Georgia; and one sister, Betty Price of Mississippi.
Billy had worked for Komatsu Mining Services as an inspector, retiring in 2003 after 35 years of service.
He loved to work on cars, fish, hunt, and watch drag racing. He also enjoyed going to auctions and swap meets. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and enjoyed watching them play sports for their schools.
His visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded.
