She was born on April 11, 1946, in Spring Valley, a daughter of Albert and Della (Frances) Johnson. Bonnie married Russell Winfield Parrott on August 9, 1969, in Peoria. He preceded her in death on December 23, 2024.
Bonnie was also preceded by her parents; two brothers, Eric and Nathan Johnson; and one sister, Connie Krueger.
She is survived by her daughter, Dawnette Lee; two sons, Greggory Lee and Russell Alan Parrott; eight grandchildren, Jessy (Jennifer) Bassett, Logan (Carmen) Bassett, Kyle (Mike Kupper) Bassett, Joey Lee, Justin Lee, Michelle Parrott, Hailey Parrott and Matthew Parrott and five great-grandchildren.
Bonnie worked as the Housekeeping Supervisor at Belwood Nursing Home in Peoria for over 30 years. She enjoyed playing Bingo.
Cremation Rites have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory Pekin Chapel. There are no services scheduled.
