

Born January 24, 1946 in La Crosse, Wisconsin to Roy L. and Dorothy (Blattner) Schlabach, she married Wilbourn “Bill” Williamson on July 31, 1965 at Wesley Methodist Church in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Surviving are her husband of 57 years; two daughters, Cheryl (Tom) Carlile of Dunlap and Pamela (Eric) Rahn of Peoria; seven grandchildren, Alexander (Courtney) Carlile of China Spring, Texas, Bayley (Paige) Carlile of Glasford, Emily (Noah) Kneer of Aubrey, Texas, Ella Carlile of Dunlap, Justin (Megan) Colson of Manito, Megan Rahn and Wensley Rahn, both of Peoria; four great-grandchildren, Ivy Carlile, Juniper Kneer and Amelia and Cannon Colson; one brother, Eldon (Sharon) Schlabach of Spokane, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Gerald Schlabach.
Carol had worked as a travel agent at Havana Travel for many years.
A loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend, Carol enjoyed crocheting, quilting and traveling. Her greatest enjoyment was spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Carol was a 50-plus year member of First United Methodist Church in Pekin, where she was active with the Lydia Circle Group. She was also a former member of the Order of Eastern Star Celestial City Chapter 333 in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 at First United Methodist Church in Pekin. Rev. James C. McClarey will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday evening at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Additional visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Friday morning at the church. Burial will be at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Pekin.
