Charles F Estes, Sr.

Born April 24, 1933 in Manito to Lee and Edna Mae (Martin) Estes, he married Beverly Jean Taylor on December 20, 1952 in North Pekin. His parents, one grandson, five sisters, and four brothers preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Jean Estes of North Pekin; three sons, Eddie Lee (Bonnie) Estes of East Peoria, Charles Franklin (Lynne) Estes, Jr. of Manito and Ricky Eugene (Sheila) Estes of North Pekin; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one brother, Delbert Estes of Pekin.

Chuck had attended First Missionary Church in North Pekin.

He worked for Louis Dreyfus Company in Pekin for 50 years, retiring in 1994, where he worked in traveling maintenance.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 5, 2017 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Tony Darr will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
