

Born October 21, 1960 in Pekin to Eugene Charles and Betty JoAnn (Delahunt) Starcevich, he married Cherie Bushong on April 25, 2014 they spent a total of 34 years together. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Charlie Bushong; one son, Sean Bushong; six grandchildren, Natalynn Bushong, Izzabell Englebrecht , Dustin Englebrecht, Karson Bradford Bushong, Zeke Englebrecht and Atticus Bushong; one great-grandchild, Luna Kemper; one sister, Connie Starcevich; two brothers, Rod (Kathy) Starcevich and Rich (Rose) Starcevich; six nieces and nephews, Brini Gorrell, Logan Starcevich, Danielle Starcevich, Morgan Caudle, Chase Caudle and Gage Caudle and one brother-in-law, Paul Caudle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Susie Caudle.
Tony had mastered the art of plastering and worked with family and independently for 43 years.
He was a sportsman of the outdoors, getting back into hunting with his daughter and her family, he had began with his father and brother’s and fishing with his wife, family and friends. Tony was an avid drag racer, racing a Kawasaki 900 Drag Bike that he built. He will be fondly remembered as a family man, husband, father, pawpaw, son, brother, uncle and best friend.
His memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 2023 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes in Pekin. Pastor Doug Seeley will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
