

He was born December 19, 2003 in Pekin to Ronald D. and Jennifer L. (Harper) Rhodes.
Surviving are his parents of Pekin; two sisters, Cali Rhodes and Brooklyn Rhodes, both of Pekin; maternal grandparents, Jay and Deanna Harper of Pekin; paternal grandparents, Ronald L. and Judenna “Jo” Rhodes, Jr. of Pekin; maternal great-grandparents, Charles and Helen Dietrich of Pekin and Gloria Harper of Pekin; paternal great-grandfather, Dean Garrison of Pekin; his beloved pets, Briggs, Nova and Jaxson; one aunt; one uncle; many cousins and countless friends and football family.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Joe Harper; his great-grandmother, Gloria Garrison and his favorite dog, Maggie Mae.
Chase was a 2022 graduate of Pekin Community High School and was a member of the PCHS football team that made a deep run in the playoffs.
He worked at Alto in Pekin the last five months. He previously worked at BTD Manufacturing in Washington.
A loving and caring son, brother, grandson, friend and teammate, Chase loved fishing, hunting, camping and riding his ATV. He was extremely proud of his new truck.
His funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 1, 2025 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Pastor Shane Hawkins will officiate. His joint visitation with his best friend, Dawson, will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Cremation will be accorded following the service.
Everyone is encouraged to wear camo or Pekin Dragons apparel and square-toed boots.
