You all don't know me. For some reason this tragedy brought me to the loss of my nephew in Indianapolis. Josh had just turned 19 when his life was taken by a 21 year old guy he had never met. Josh had an identical twin. That made harder in ways. (If that's possible.)
 I can't help but wonder why good old fist fights became gunshots. Anyway, I don't know how you feel; I know how I felt. I know people meant well. How do you talk about something so horrible to people who have never come close to this nightmare!? IDK. I talked anyway. It actually helped a few people who would later go through a loss such as yours and mine.
I guess I want you to know there are a few of us who have gone through the shock, anger, grief... Name it. You aren't alone.  
I saw all fantastic pictures you put on here. Chase was a doll! He is with you. So is his bestie. 
I'm rattling. Sorry. Hang in there. Y'all are in my thoughts and prayers.

Chase was always a blast to work with at BTD. He taught me a lot about the laser cutter, as well as BTD’s processes. We always had plenty of stories to share, and even more to talk about. Such an amazing guy gone too soon. Rest in peace my man. See you on the other side

Chase was always such a funny guy, even with time moving fast and becoming distant we shared many great memories. I would see Chase at Parkside athletics catching a lift and he would always make sure to come say hello. In High school we made many great memories, especially during the football and track season. Rest in peace to a great friend.

So very sorry for the loss of your son. There are no words except to say my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. May God hold you tight and give you comfort in the days ahead.

Rhodes Family,  I am so very sorry for your loss.  I am Ron and Jo's neighbor and I will sure miss seeing Chase and his beautiful red truck often at his grandparents.   He was a very polite young man.  I am so heartbroken for you all.  Hugs and prayers!!!

My heart is absolutely broken reading about the loss of Chase. Though I didn’t know him personally, it’s clear he was the kind of young man who left a deep and lasting impact on everyone lucky enough to know him. A proud son, brother, grandson, teammate, and friend — someone who loved deeply and lived fully, with a spirit too big to be contained.

Chase’s love for the outdoors, his loyalty to his family and friends, and his pride in his work and his new truck paint the picture of a life lived with passion and joy. His bond with Dawson and his countless friends shows the true mark of a life that mattered — one that lifted up others.

Our community has lost someone truly special. I pray for peace and strength for Chase’s family and friends in these unthinkable days. May his memory live on in every sunrise on the lake, every game under the stadium lights, and every moment of laughter and friendship he inspired.

Rest easy, Chase. You will never be forgotten.

Chase, thank you so much for being such a good sport when you came to our home to get your pictures taken for mom and dad. You've left a lasting memory for this community that won't be forgotten. Associates, friends and family love you and miss you already. Your work here on earth was not done, but the Lord has his own plan even if we don't understand it. This world brings pain, your pain has ended and now you can eternally rest in the arms of your Father in Heaven. We'll be here watching over your memory, please watch out for all of us as we continue to live our lives without your presence here on earth. We'll all be able to meet again in the home that God's prepared for us.

I am so very sorry for what you all are going through.  When I would see Chase out he always had a smile and a friendly hi to give.  As parents, you two have raised 3 wonderful, respectful children.  I know your very proud of all 3.  Maggie could not have gained a better best friend.  Keep his memories close and dear, and feel his love around you always.  Continued prayers for you all.

We might not have been friends but we graduated together. No one deserves to lose a child, friend, or brother. Rest easy Chase you will always be remembered.

I've been and will continue to pray for your family and for God to wrap his arms around everyone of you. I worked with Chase @ BTD when I was in the machining department until he left to start his new job. Enjoyed our daily conversations, he was a great young man and will be truly missed.....

My thoughts and prayers are with the Rhodes family.  Although me and chase weren’t close friends. We were classmates for a long time. He was a great person always willing to help when needed. He will be watching down over you guys until you meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss, Chase was a great kid, Always enjoyed how respectful and kind he was to everyone. Rode my bus for a few years and always made me laugh.. Hadn’t seen him for a few years, still the same great kid I am more than sure. You should be proud of the way you raised all your kids, I know I sure would be.

I know they was best friends. He was a great guy and great family member. You’ll be missed by so many. I’m so sorry for the both of them. No person should have to go through this. I’m sorry that you barely knew who I was but I know you’re a great guy and I miss you Dawson Reese and Chase.

We are so sorry for your loss. We have so many wonderful memories with Chase and your family. One in which we laughed about the other night is when we would come home and Rizzo would be gone! Yep, Chase was here!! He loved that dog and Rizzo loved him dearly. There are many many more - Chase made a huge impact in our family’s life. Our hearts go out to all of you, we are praying and will keep his memory alive with all the stories.
