

Born November 24, 1969 in Peoria, he was a son of Donald and Diana (Hall) Wagner. He married his beloved wife Jennifer on May 23, 2008 in Creve Coeur. She survives.
Also surviving are his children, CJ Wagner of Pekin, Kirsten Wagner of Creve Coeur, Meghan Cox of Pekin, and Chase (Molly) Ulrich of Peoria; four grandchildren, Remmington, Topher, Nola, and Abigail; four sisters, Sheri Wagner of Pekin, Amanda Wagner of Creve Coeur, Wendy Crisostomo of Pekin, and Dawn (Scott) Franklin of Alford, Florida; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and his three dogs, Otto, Sissy and Sprocket.
Chris was preceded in death by his mother, father, maternal and paternal grandparents, and his uncle.
He was a jack of all trades. He worked a variety of jobs over the years such as a volunteer firefighter and EMT at the Creve Coeur Fire Department, an Airpack technician, a tax preparer, a meat cutter, a CNA, a BINGO caller, and more. Chris loved playing poker, woodworking, fishing, camping, and just being outdoors. He looked forward to his Saturday morning breakfast with his best friend David Simpson (South Pekin), and any chance he could spend time with his friends and family.
A cookout celebrating Chris' life will be held at a later date.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
