He was born August 7, 1992 in Orlando, Florida to Michael Schillinger and Julie Pruitt.
Surviving are his mother, Julie Pruitt of East Peoria; father and step-mother, Michael and Mary Beth Schillinger of Morton; one brother, Jarrod Schillinger of East Peoria; one sister, Kiley Null of Manito; and grandparents, Pastor David and Bonnie Schillinger of Florida and Ted and Trudy Pruitt of Pekin.
Cody had been working at McDonald’s for the past two months.
Cody loved hanging with his friends and enjoying life, 4-wheeling, climbing trees, tinkering with things, and visits to Southern Illinois to visit his aunt Kelly.
His visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2012 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. Cremation will be accorded after the visitation and there will be no funeral.
