Connie J Rowe

Born April 8, 1933 in Alanville to Conrad and Louise (Bush) Lee, she married Marwood Rowe on November 4, 1951 in Peoria.  He survives.

Also surviving are her granddaughter, whom she raised, Jessica (Derrick) Haley of Pekin; four sons, Michael (Laura) Rowe of East Peoria, David (JoAnn) Rowe and Ty Rowe, both of Creve Coeur and Bryan Rowe of Chillicothe; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Karl Duane (Claire) Lee of Solo, Missouri and Bobby Eugene (Pat) Lee of Arcola.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one grandson, Aaron Rowe.

Connie was a teacher’s assistant for Creve Coeur School District #76 for 18 years, retiring in 2000.

Connie was a talented artist who was well known in the area for her work.

Her memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.  Pastor Tom Pisano will officiate.  There will be no visitation.
