Born December 27, 1945 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Stanley and Margaret Neuman, she married Benedict Fontana on May 28, 2005 in Dane Prairie Township. He died May 18, 2018. She was also preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Miranda Bernard and one brother, William Neuman.
Surviving are one son, Jason (Kshe) Bernard of Morton and four grandchildren, Lauren, Raine, Lucian, and Luna Bernard, all of Morton.
Crystal had worked as a hotel manager.
She enjoyed reading, crocheting, fishing and listening to Irish music. Crystal was a talented bowler and pool player, competing in multiple leagues. She loved horses and enjoyed her time living in her parents’ old house by the lake.
There are no scheduled services at this time. Cremation has been accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
