She was born November 4, 1932 in Pekin to George William and Edna Vienna (Coriell) Toel.
Surviving are three daughters, Robin (Mike) Morgan of Pekin, Cheryl (Ernie) Wernowsky of Bloomington and Georgeann Donath; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother, Danny (Phyllis) Toel of Pekin and one cousin, Gail Sue (Steve) Redman of South Carolina.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Ronald C. Toel and her longtime companion, Leon Teague.
She was a former member of Job’s Daughters Bethel 55 of Pekin. Darlene enjoying reading and sewing and loved spending time with her grandchildren and friends. She had a heart of gold.
Visitation will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 1, 2024 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin. A private graveside service will be held at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
