Darren, his brothers and his cousin (Dave) were among the first kids I met when my dad was building our home up the street from theirs back in the early -mid 70's.  I was the only girl on the block at the time, and we used to play baseball.  In fact, just recently my parents ran into Darren and he was recalling giving my dad a hard time because our lot used to be their baseball field.  When I moved into my first apartment, Darren & his older brother, Rick, were my neighbors and we partied together.  It's hard to believe he's gone at such a young age. I know his mom and brothers will miss him terribly.  May he rest in peace.

We're so sorry for your loss.  We knew Darren when he lived across the street from us.

We are so very sorry to hear that Darren has passed.  He was a good guy with some talent for remodeling and refurbishing. We have kept him, his daughter, Emily and his x-wife Beth in our prayers since leaving the neighborhood.  May God bless you as you grieve.

To my beloved son. Darren, my heart is breaking and so is Rick and Tim. We thought we would be breaking you home that night.  We loved you so much.  We feel so lost without you. Darren was a wonderful help and encouragement to me on the farm.  He always expressed interest in whatever work we were doing (sometimes projects you wouldn't expect on a farm, like repairing my church's pipe organ).  He did quality work and was always thinking of how to make things work better.  I am missing him and will forever feel the loss. Love and sympathy to Norma and all of Darren's family.  John

My prayers are with Ricky and Tim (Timbo) and your family at this time. Like Shelby, my earliest memories of my neighborhood on East Eighth Street include the Pomrenke boys.
