He was born on February 8, 1969, in Peoria, a son of Jerry “Mack” Ogle and Kathleen (Bradle) Pierson. Dave married Grace “Suzi” (Miller) Ogle on May 26, 2016, in Jamaica. She survives.
Also surviving are his mother, Kathleen Pierson of Diamond Head, MS; one step-daughter, Stephanie (Nate) Killebrew of Pekin; two step-sons, Zachary (Ciera) Culp of Bloomington and Trevor Culp of Pekin; two step-grandchildren, Elijah and Zella; one brother, Bryan (Gina) Ogle of Athens, Alabama; one niece, Grace (Justin) Edgar of Athens, Alabama; one nephew, Andrew Ogle of Marietta, Georgia; and one great-nephew, Brooks.
Dave was preceded in death by his father.
He last worked for Embassy Suites in East Peoria as a Bartender and Hospitality Extraordinaire. Dave was an avid fan of the Chicago Blackhawks, Chicago Cubs and the University of Tennessee Football team. He enjoyed fishing. Dave was proud of setting bar records while working at Disney in Florida at the bar at the grand Floridian, Victoria & Albert’s bar. The records were held for many years.
A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 6, 2025, from 5-7 p.m. at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
