Deborah K. Whitman

Deborah K. Whitman, 58, of Glasford, Illinois, died Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 5:10 PM at OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria. She was born November 2, 1953 in Peoria, Illinois. She was the daughter of Wallace and Florence (Rowland) Overend. She married David Leslie Whitman on March 2, 1979 in Peoria, Illinois. He survives.

Deborah is survived by four children, Dawnya (Ralph) DeWitt, Danielle (William) Pray, David Whitman, Daranda (Ryan) Cross. She is survived by twelve grandchildren, Amanda Whitman, Alaina Whitman, Andrew Brazee, Tiffany Pray, Kali Pray, Kyla Pray, Johnathan Pray, Jessica Pray, William “Tyler” Pray, Katherine Pray, Raygan “Charlie Boy” Cross, and infant baby Cross who is expected soon. She has two great grandchildren, Austin”Drew” Rutledge and Trey DeWitt. There are also 1 brother and 1 sister surviving. She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Katelyn Pray.

Funeral Services will be Monday, December 5, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Davison Fulton Woolsey Funeral Home in Pekin, Illinois. The Rev. Walter Wilkins will officiate. A visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday. Cremation rites will be accorded after services. Memorials may be made to the Glasford American Legion Post #35.
