

Born July 6, 1952 in Geneva to George W. and Ola Marie Nelson Clark, she married Richard A. Ludwig in 1970 in Kane County. She then married Steven P. Sayers, Sr. in 1982 in Pekin.
Surviving are three daughters, Heather (David) Dunbar of Peoria Heights, Hillary (Nathan) Cavitt of Pekin and Katie (Adam) Johnson of Chillicothe; one son, Steven P. (Tiffany) Sayers of Nabb, Indiana; one grandson, Justin R. Kleiber of Pekin and one brother, William (Virginia) Clark of Bolingbrook. She also leaves her fiancé, Jeffrey C. Pfanz of Pekin.
She was especially fond of her dog, Bert and enjoyed spending time with her family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, gambling and watching movies on the Lifetime Channel.
She worked for Pekin Insurance, where she was a customer service representative for the past seven years. She previously worked as a cook at Steak n Shake for more than 10 years. She also had worked as a cook part-time at Bob Evans Restaurant.
She was a member of Normandale Reformed Church in Pekin.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 26, 2005at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel. The Rev. Terry C. Edele will officiate. Visitation will be from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.
