Delmar D Davis

Born August 26, 1957 in Peoria to Charles, Jr. and Carolyn (Michels) Davis, he married Kathy Martin on September 9, 2006 in Pekin.

Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Jody Davis of Las Vegas, Nevada; one step-daughter, Jamie (Todd) Pyeatte-Voss of Columbus, Ohio; three step-sons, Kevin (Mary) Webber of Peoria, Eric Webber of Morton, and Michael Pyeatte of Columbus, Ohio; one granddaughter, Lily Webber; and three sisters, Glenna (Robert) Pyeatte of Peoria, Ruby Harper of Creve Coeur, and Brenda Davis of Beardstown.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Robbie Lynn Davis.

Delmar had worked as a welder for over 30 years, last working for Allied Welding in Chillicothe.

He enjoyed working with wood at his home, where he made cabinets, an entertainment center, and a work bench. He was an all around handyman around the house. Delmar loved playing pool, riding his Harley and seeing the ocean.

His visitation will be from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. There will be no services and cremation will be accorded.
