Donna Jo Snider

Born July 26, 1949 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to Robert and Gaynell (Rockwell) Turner, she married Tom Snider on December 17, 1977 in Pekin. He survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Shayna (Damon) Snider-MacNaught of Silver Point, TN; one son, Tommy Snider of Pekin; two granddaughters, Phoebe and Winifred MacNaught, both of Silver Point, TN; one sister, Rita Boyd of Adrian, MI; and two brothers, Robert Turner of Bartonville and Bill ( Debbie) Turner of Stoutsville, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Donna was the secretary for her husband’s business, Snider Plumbing in Pekin for 20 years, retiring with Tom in 2005. She was previously a flight attendant for TWA.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend, her greatest joy was her grandchildren.

Her graveside service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Lakeside Cemetery in Pekin. Elder Mike Turner will officiate. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
