Born July 29, 1932 at home in Manito, she was a daughter of Raymond and Ethel (Allen) Smith. Her parents preceded her in death. She also was preceded in death by one brother, Jake Smith and one sister, Ruth Dowell.
Surviving are one brother, Raymond (Mary) Smith of Pekin; two sisters, Rose Caulkins of Manito and Patricia (John) Plummer of Tremont; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Donna worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1991.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a member of Forest City Community Church.
Private graveside services will be held in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Forest City. There will be no visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
